Bio
Hi, my names Rhian Cahill and I’m a bookaholic. I love books of all kind and you’ll often find me with my head in one. I’ve written all my life but it took a back seat to my kids for many years. As they got older I picked up the pen again and began to tell the stories of some of the people in my head. I’m lucky I’m a writer, it’s probably the only job in the world where you can say people talk to you inside your head and get away with it without a straight jacket.
Writing Erotic Romance under the pen name Rhian Cahill I use my world travels for inspiration. A native of Sydney Australia, I’m now living in Singapore with my husband and four children. It wasn’t until we moved to Singapore in 2007 that I began to pursue publication full time.
A lover of all Romance genres I plan to publish in a few different ones. That’s why I’ve chosen Rhian Cahill for my Erotic Romance stories. I’m not interested in hiding my true identity but I don’t want people to confuse any of the genres I write in and having a pen name for each one makes it a lot easy for people and probably me too.
The story behind the name? Rhian takes a letter from each of my imediate family’s first names, it’s also Welsh which is my fathers country of origin. Cahill takes the first letter from my married name, my middle name (which happens to be my mothers maiden name) and my own maiden name.
I signed my first contract with Noble Romance Publishing on Feb 25th ‘09. I’m very excited about this little short story and plan a few more in the same theme. Fingers crossed they get picked up too. I’ll be announcing the release date as soon as I know.
I work with three CP’s, the lovely Devon Gray, Mari Carr and Vivian Arend. Devon’s books are available from The Wild Rose Press-The Wilder Roses. Mari’s books are available from Sahmain Publishing, Liquid Silver Books and Ellora’s Cave. Viv’s books are available from Samhain Publishing and Noble Romance Publishing. Links to Devon, Mari and Viv’s websites and blogs are in the sidebar, you’ll also find links to the publishers.
Feel free to leave a comment and say hello. I’d love to hear from you.
